One of the reasons I love these little angels is the many colors that they come in.
I am amazed by all the possible color combinations.
No two Shih Tzu are ever the same.
I thought that I would put together some example of the many different
color combinations that we own or have produced! ~Enjoy~

Let’s start with the Nose!
To determine what color a Shih Tzu is you must start with the nose.
The Dilute Colors Liver & Blue cannot have a Black Nose!
1. Black Nose: In Black nosed Shih Tzu color is determined by the coat.
2. Liver Nose: A Dog is considered a Liver if the shade of nose is in the Brown color pallet. This can range from Dark Chocolate to light cream. With their coats being any shade.
3 Blue Nose: The rare Blues noses can be from dark navy blue to light lavenders and every shade in between. This is also true of their coats; they can have Dark Steel gray to light cream.
The only way a dog is a Liver or Blue is by their
Nose & the Pads of their feet!

What are Dobie's?
The name Dobie is taken after the Doberman pincher look.
They have light tan or silver marking on their legs, cheeks, under tail and eyebrow’s they really stand out from the rest.
